Good bye USA
|
|
|
We spend our last weeks in US in a hotel, after all our furniture was send over to Denmark by sea. We went around to friends saying good bye, visiting playgrounds for the last time and enjoying the last bit of our year in USA.
Our last visit to the new playground at Mercer County Park. The boys are enjoying them self.
Fun in the pool is one of the things that especially the boys will miss. They both love the water and the summer weather, and it's a lot hotter in New Jersey than in Denmark (in the summer time). Andreas and Philip has both improved their swimming ability a lot over the past year.
POOL TIME
We enjoyed our last dinner (for this time) in US at the Meditation where we were sitting outside, that was just perfect.
The last shopping we did before we left Princeton was buying a new suitcase for our new family member the Princeton tiger (the biggest we could get!). So before we put the tiger (named Nick-Nick) in the suitcase Oliver had to try it.....
Friday morning 27th of July we all went to preschool to say good bye to all the people that has been in Philips school life the last year. We all hate to say good bye but at the same time we hate to leave without saying it, so we had a nice morning in preschool with cupcakes for snack and some fun.
Our return back to Denmark went very smooth, we didn't have any delay and we got all our luggage when we arrived in Copenhagen. The flight went well too, all the boys did very well. Oliver got a crypt hanging on the wall, so he was sleeping most of the flight. Andreas and Philip both got a nap too, and that was pretty good because we arrived in Denmark at 7 am after leaving US at 6 pm the night before. I don't know what we looked like when we left the airport in Denmark..... We had 8 big suitcases, 1 stroller, 3 car seats, 5 hand luggage and 3 personal items (smaller bags).
